Fun Skydivers

The club membership year starts on 1st April 2021 and forms can be completed at the centre by new members when attending the centre in person.

The club membership fee for the year 1st April 2021 – 31st March 2022 is £20.

Whilst at the centre all jumpers will be required to follow any current Government guidelines with regard to Covid-19. If you are experiencing any Covid symptoms please do not attend the centre.

A Licence currency requirements

  • ‘A’ Licence parachutists who have not jumped within one month will need to complete daily drills with an Instructor before manifesting.
  • ‘A’ Licence parachutists who have not jumped for more than 3 months can book onto a refresher training course at a cost of £100.00. Refresher courses are run Tuesday – Friday only. Please contact for more information. Please note that due to high demand, this service is only available for those A Licence skydivers who initially trained here at Hinton Skydiving. Un-current A Licence skydivers who trained elsewhere will need to enquire at their original centre with regard to refresher training.

It is the responsibility of all AFF students to stay current as this will affect your ability to jump. In order to maintain currency you must try not to leave a gap of more than one month between jumps. Refresher training can be provided for those out of currency but charges may apply.

Students who are current and have been trained through Hinton Skydiving Centre will need to complete their daily drills upon arrival and to attend any progression briefs before manifesting. This will be done via the AFF Instructors for AFF and Consolidation students still working towards their ‘A’ Licence.

We ask that all students book in through the AFF phone to confirm their attendance at the centre. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required in order for our instructors to facilitate your needs on the day.

There is a TEXT ONLY facility to contact Chris on 07936 131453. Text messages will ONLY be ANSWERED during OFFICE HOURS. Tuesday to Friday 09.00 – 17.00 and weekends from 08.00 – 17.00.

All students wishing to jump during the weekend are requested to arrive at the centre no later than 08.00 so that all training requirements can be completed before jumping starts at 09.00.

Midweek arrival times are 09.00 ready for a 10.00 start.

A weather check is available on the day of your jump on 01295 812300 from 07.00 on a weekend or from 08.00 midweek.
