In making a booking with Hinton skydiving centre you will be deemed to have accepted the Hinton skydiving centre terms and conditions of trade and you should note the clauses dealing with cancellation of bookings and limitation of liability.

  • All persons attending courses are required to purchase British Parachute Association membership which is normally included in the cost. (Most vouchers include this as standard – please check with your supplier for details)Membership of the BPA covers each person with third party liability insurance to the value of £2,000,000. Once purchased, membership cards for the British Parachute Association are non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • Hinton Skydiving Centre offers a facility to redeem jump tickets or vouchers for a period of 50 weeks per year, 6 days a week. All tickets and vouchers are purchased with the full understanding that they have no refund value.
  • Hinton Skydiving Centre vouchers are valid for a period of 9 months from date of issue and must be used before the expiry date. Vouchers purchased from other suppliers must be in date at the time of use.
  • When making a Tandem booking directly with Hinton Skydiving Centre a £50 non-refundable deposit is paid as part of your course fee. Name changes will be permitted up to the day of the jump but deposits are non-transferable to other party members. Persons cancelling within seven days of their chosen date for any reason will automatically lose their deposit
  • When making an AFF booking directly with Hinton Skydiving Centre a £100 non-refundable deposit is paid as part of your course fee. Name changes will be permitted up to the day of the jump but deposits are non-transferable to other party members. Persons cancelling within seven days of their chosen date for any reason will automatically lose their deposit.
  • When making a booking using a third party voucher for any activity at Hinton Skydiving Centre your voucher will be deemed to be your deposit. Persons cancelling within seven days of their chosen date for any reason will automatically lose their deposit.
  • Once you have made a booking, the date can be changed for an alternative date as long as a notice period exceeding seven days is given. Changing the date of any activity within seven days of the allocated date will result in an admin charge of £20 per person.
  • Hinton skydiving centre reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the programme of any activity so long as these do not affect to any material extent the nature and scope of such activity.
  • Due to the nature of some of the activities they may be subject to cancellation due to weather conditions or other matters beyond the control of Hinton skydiving centre. This decision will only be made on the day of the activity in order that we may give our customers the best advice possible. Activities that need to be rearranged due to adverse weather conditions, where that decision has been made by Hinton Skydiving Centre, will not be charged
  • Persons choosing not to attend or wishing to rebook before this decision has been made will be charged a £20 rebooking fee. Persons cancelling before this decision has been made will automatically lose their deposit.
  • The timing of any activity is given as a guide only and you may be required to wait for your turn along with other members of the public and club members.
  • Hinton skydiving centre reserves the right to reschedule the timings or location of any activity, possibly at short notice, owing to unavailability of the activity, booking numbers, or any factor beyond the control of Hinton skydiving centre.
  • Hinton skydiving centre reserves the right to discontinue any activity at its own discretion.
  • The minimum age for any parachute activity is sixteen. Persons between sixteen and eighteen years of age will be required to produce full parental consent forms.
  • Currently there is no upper age limit for Tandem Skydiving and as long as you are physically fit and healthy you can self declare by completing BPA medical form 115A. If there is a doubt about fitness or where existing medical conditions require the advice of a doctor then BPA medical form 115B must be used. This form, (115B) must be stamped and signed by a doctor and brought to the centre on the day of your jump.
  • The maximum age for AFF courses is 55 years old
