AFF Student update

AFF and Consolidation students should have received an email from us in regards to refresher sessions being run in advance of our reopening date on 13th April 2021. If you have not received an email please contact us at

If you are unable to attend any of the dates provided we will continue to offer free refresher training throughout April on an ad-hoc basis. These sessions will be run at 09:00am Tuesday to Friday and at 08:00am on weekends (subject to availability).

Once jumping starts on the 13th April we will be resuming the use of the AFF (Text only) number to book in and confirm your attendance at the centre. We ask that you give us a minimum of 24-hours’ notice before attending the centre to ensure we have enough instructors available.

Please see the below check-list which will facilitate your return to skydiving:

  • Covid Questionnaire form – to be completed in person at the centre.
  • Club Membership form (1st April 2021 – 31st March 2022) to be completed in person at the centre.
  • British Skydiving Insurance (1st April 2021 – 31st March 2022) to be completed in advance or in person at the centre. **
  • Review of AFF training manual – we recommend students review their training manuals ahead of their return to the centre as this will aid in your refresher training.
  • Refresher training sessions – these will be run in advance of our start date and throughout April. All students will need to attend at least 1 session before they can resume jumping.
  • Daily Drills – these need to completed every morning before jumping and will be run by an available instructor.

** Student provisional memberships do not end on 31st March 2021 and run for 12 months from the date of issue. If you are unsure whether your British Skydiving membership has expired then please check at the centre on arrival.

Social distancing measures and restrictions on group sizes will remain in place until such time that they are relaxed by the Government. A mask/face covering is required to be worn at all times whilst in the main skydiving hangar and AFF classroom. Masks must also be worn when in the Manifest pen prior to boarding the aircraft and on the plane up to altitude.
